A thought crossed by mind today. So, here it is.

It is said that "the greatest trick that devil ever played was making the world believe he didn't exist." Now if this holds true. Is God, devil or vice-versa? This may sound blasphemous. Before we answer that question, we must accept that all religions of the world have been constantly trying to tell us that a God exists. And that we need faith to believe in Him. Why should we blindly believe in God? If devil is God's nemesis, God would obviously try to prove His existence in contrary to devil's above-mentioned trickery. If we put both the factors together. We have a God who wants recognition and a devil who wants to hide inside an invisible cloak. But just look around us. We see bad things happen ever so often, it is a little hard to believe that devil has a cloak over him. (It is easy to believe that he exists). On the other hand, God expects the 'faithful' to believe Him without any concrete evidence. What is left with us are a bunch of books written by saints and sages. But who are they? How can we believe those stories? Especially of those miracles. Being a Christian, I always wanted to know why is that miracles only happen through Catholic saints?

In the movie 'The Prophecy', Thomas Daggett says, "Some people lose their faith because Heaven shows them too little. But how many people lose their faith because Heaven showed them too much?" Why doesn't God or devil give us enough evidence? I do not want to answer these questions by taking scholarly discourses on metaphysics, epistemology, morality, religion, language or politics into consideration. By taking these questions outside these structured forms of study, is it possible for Devil and God to be a single entity?

The End.

P.S: Dear Reader, If you are an atheist, you can laugh all you want at this. If you are agnostic, let me know if you have other theories. If you are a Satanist, can you show me a Satanist church? I hear there are many around. But I also hear they are not advertised as much as Christian churches (well, the reasons are quite obvious, but um...nonetheless). If you are a Catholic, hear me out when I say I like angels and saints. If you are a non-Catholic, learn to be more lively. Don't get me wrong. I am a not a Catholic. But you got to admit that you guys have the most boring Sunday service. Don't we need to change with the times. If you are an ORF or Obsessive Religious Fanatic (if anyone has called you that before, it is because you make religion every single second of your life and barely devote your life to living it like normal human beings. You call every sorrow, God's test and every joy ... I am sorry I don't think you have found that yet and you are probably waiting for death or nirvana to find true euphoria. This title is for Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Jains, Jews, Zoroastrians and the rest of the bunch. The only condition is you got to be obsessed). If are a Hindu, I don't think you guys have much to worry in this debate. There is one God split into three, no devil just a few demons. I am sure thats no biggie. If you are a Pagan or a neo-Pagan, send me a message, we should meet sometime. If you are a Luciferian, what is the point of Satanism then? If you are a Jedi, dude, may the force be with you or force be you or be with the force or seek out the force or just deal with the force. If you belong to Church of Euthanasia, Church of the SubGenius, The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Invisible Pink Unicorn, Kibology, Landover Baptist Church, Iglesia Maradoniana or Last Thursday, I salute you.

The end again.
